The DC system of the substation provides power for relay protection, automatic safety devices, control signal circuits, emergency lighting, etc. This is the basic guarantee for the correct operation of relay protection, automatic devices, and circuit breakers. At present, circuit breakers and fuses are widely used as the main protective devices in the DC system of substations. When a circuit malfunctions, the faulty circuit can be selectively cut off to limit the system malfunction to a very small range. Circuit breakers and fuses usually need to be used in series. Selective protection between superiors and subordinates is an important condition for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the power system.

The non-polar small DC circuit breaker has reversible protection, no positive or negative poles, and can be connected up and down, avoiding serious accidents caused by wiring errors such as burning, damaging the circuit breaker, and causing DC panel fires.
