Bosnia and Herzegovina Power signs agreement with EBRD on Gra č anica large-scale photovoltaic power plant project

On August 14th, the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Radio reported that Bosnia and Herzegovina Power and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed a loan agreement for the construction of the Gra č anica 1 and 2 photovoltaic power station projects. The Gra č anica1 and 2 projects are the first large-scale photovoltaic power station projects implemented by Bosnia and Herzegovina Electricity. The Minister of Energy and Mines of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rakitic, attended the signing ceremony of the contract.

The total investment for this project is approximately 40.35 million euros, with funding from EBRD (25.1 million euros loan) and Italy's Yuxin Bank (15 million euros loan). Austria provided technical and consulting support for the preparation and implementation of the project. The project is located in Bugojno city, with a total installed capacity of 45MW and an expected annual power generation of 66GWh.
