In photovoltaic systems, although connectors account for a small proportion, many links need to be used! Many construction workers may not have a sufficient understanding of connectors, which can lead to equipment failures. In the entire photovoltaic system, the DC side voltage is usually as high as 600-1000V. Once the joint contact of the photovoltaic module is loose or poor, it is very easy to cause DC arc phenomenon. DC arc pulling will cause a sharp increase in the temperature of the contact area, and a continuous arc will generate high temperatures of 1000-3000 ℃, accompanied by high-temperature carbonization of surrounding devices. In light cases, fuses and cables may be blown, while in severe cases, equipment may be burned and cause a fire.
